As the dealership network continues to grow, GAC Motor Philippines held its first Dealer Conference on March 07 at Marco Polo Function Hall, Ortigas. The conference aims to build stronger ties with its dealer network, and to strengthen the brand presence in the country.
With the theme “2gether 2 Get There”, GAC Motor Philippines laid down its past programs, sales target for 2022, plans, programs, and strategies on how to achieve the projected sales target. Present in the dealer conference were the officials from the brand’s distributor in the country, and its dealers in Pasig, Pampanga, Tarlac, Alabang, Davao, Bacoor, Tacloban, and Iloilo.
For 2022, GAC Motor Philippines aims to achieve higher sales, and stronger market presence through various marketing, sales, and after sales strategies.
“This year, we will be focusing on giving training programs to our dealer partners, not just on the technical side, but also on building the self-confidence of our sales agents by gearing them with sufficient knowledge about the brand and vehicle models being sold in the country,” said Ma. Hilda San Juan, dealer development manager of GAC Motor Philippines.
To serve more customers in the southern area, we will soon be opening dealerships in Bacoor, Tacloban, and Iloilo. Furthermore, GAC Motor Philippines will also continue and expand our mall displays nationwide to to help generate sales while exposing the brand to the public GAC Motor Philippines President and CEO Wilbert Lim expressed his confidence that the brand will definitely gain the hearts of Filipinos.
“We all know that we are not as popular as Geely, MG, Changan, and Chery, but as we start to set a standard to our brand, slowly but surely we will become one of them. With the quality of our products, I’m sure that Filipinos will patronize it. It may be tough, and challenging, but through everyone’s efforts and commitment, I believe it will be possible,” said Lim.
