The 4th Avenue and 27th Street in Bonifacio Global City buzzed with excitement as sports cars converged for a noble cause, Sports Cars For A Cause (SCFC) Year 5. Organized by BGC Car Club and NEO.
This charity event, dedicated to supporting the Sisters of Mary (SOM), showcased 206 sports cars, a remarkable intersection of adrenaline-fueled excitement and heartfelt generosity. Since its inception in 2018, the event has been a beacon of hope for SOM scholars, providing them with the educational resources they need to thrive.

It is truly a highlight of my year to see such a convergence of work, family, and passion for cars in support of the kids at Sisters of Mary. The school is 100% donor-funded, and it's efforts like this that open doors for the rest of the year. We could not be prouder to see an all-time-high in both donations collected and number of cars that rolled in for the cause” - Charlie Rufino, BGC Car Club Convenor and NEO President.
100% of donations fund the education, boarding, and basic needs of the 11,000 children on campus. Amongst SOM's upcoming initiatives is the Digital Transformation Center, a new building set to equip their scholars for next-generation careers in technology sectors.

The Sports Cars for a Cause event was not merely a display of performance and horsepower; it is a testament to the power of community and compassion. There was no revving of sports cars allowed during the event proper; their presence alone symbolized the collective effort to support a cause that truly matters.
“Thank you so much to all our benefactors, through your generosity thousands of deserving high school students coming from underprivileged families are now crossing the bridge from poverty to self-sustainability” - Sr. Elena Belarmino, Superior General, Sisters of Mary.
The success of the event would not have been possible without the support of sponsors and partners. BGC Car Club extends heartfelt appreciation to Ascott BGC, Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila managed by The Ascott Limited, Ayre Group, BDO, Bonifacio Global City (BGC),  BGC Car Club, Bonifacio Global City Estate Association (BGCEA), Calvin Ayre Foundation, DOON Car-Sharing Marketplace, French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines (CCIFP), Leechiu Property Consultants, Manam Comfort Filipino, Manila House Private Club, nChain, NEO, Oppo, Shell Pilipinas, Threadborne Group, Wildflour Hospitality Group, and Yield Guild Games Pilipinas for their continuous support and commitment to the cause.
