Ever since the Subaru XV was introduced in the country almost 7 years ago, the compact crossover has given Filipinos a stylish and no-nonsense entry into the world of Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and boxer engines. Thanks to Giken Co. Ltd and Mr. Masahiko Kobayashi, former Chief Design Head of Global Advanced Design of Subaru Corporation, Motor Image Pilipinas now offer the new Subaru XV GT Edition.
This latest collaboration brings a hint of sportiness to the compact crossover class. It adds a front bumper lip extension, side skirts, a rear bumper extension, and a roof spoiler. Finishing things off outside are a set of exclusively-designed 18-inch alloy wheels.
The inside also gets a few touches in the form of signature carpets and seat accents, as well as a sideview monitor. The latter allows for easy parking even in tight spaces.
The Subaru XV GT Edition was first unveiled at this year’s Manila International Auto Show that took place last April 4-7, 2019 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. It is now avaialbe at all Subaru dealerships nationwide.
