It’s that time of the year again when all things Subaru become intense. Yes, the Japanese carmaker, through its official local distributor Motor Image Pilipinas, is all set and ready for the 2017 Palm Challenge to be held this September 9 and 10 at the Bonifacio High Street in BGC, Taguig.

To the uninitiated, the Palm Challenge is where groups of participants stick their hands on a Subaru vehicle. The one who will hold on to the car the longest within a given time frame wins. Sounds simple, right? Well, here’s the catch; the time frame would last for hours (or even an entire day in some cases).

In addition, participants would face numerous physical and mental challenges within the time frame. These include fatigue, psychological stress, and the occasional friendly taunting among fellow challengers, among others.

Do you have what it takes to dominate? If so, here’s what you’ll get. Should you and 9 others survive the endurance test, Subaru will send your team flying to Singapore to represent the Philippines in the Regional Palm Challenge this October. Now that’s what you call the ultimate challenge.

Of course, with the ultimate challenge comes an ultimate reward; a brand new Subaru Impreza!

Feel challenged already? You should be, for you’ll go up against over 125 other challengers on September 9 at the Bonifacio High Street in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Moreover, to those who’re currently enrolled in college within Metro Manila, you’ll also get your dibs on the 2017 Subaru Palm Challenge Collegiate Edition happening the day after. Winners of the Collegiate Edition will receive prizes for their schools.

So what are you waiting for? Sign up now and charge your physical and mental endurance prowess. Log on to http://subarupalmchallenge2017.com.ph/ to register.
