The 2022 range of Volvos available in the Philippines also comes with top-end trims and exterior enhancements. The Volvo XC60, for example, sports a revamped grille and front bumpers plus a sportier take with its unique R-Design styling details. On the other hand, the Volvo S90 executive sedan is made even more spacious and premium as Volvo PH brings in the long-wheelbase variant in the Inscription package. Volvo’s flagship luxury SUV – the XC90 – is made even more magnificent with the added comfort and luxurious details that comes with the Inscription trim.

Boost Your Drive

Already known for its masterful marriage of form and function, the 2022 vehicle line-up is boosted to move you in ways you have never experienced before. Along with the aesthetic and functional upgrades, the Volvo Boost Range now comes with an electrified powertrain. As the first luxury car company to launch plug-in hybrid models in the Philippines, Volvo PH now offers the new generation B6 engine locally. This move is just an extension of the global drive towards all-in electrification and sustainability.

Previously known as the powerful T6 engine, it is now retitled as the B6 with the introduction of the 48V hybrid system that has the Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) at its core. The Boost range is fuelled by a 2.0L four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine connected to a 48-volt battery. The pairing gives a combined power of 313hp and 460 Nm of torque – plenty of power to zip around the city or take a trip outside the metro. Fuel efficiency is also improved and now sits at 9.4L/100km.

Apart from reduced fuel consumption and tailpipe emissions, the Boost engine provides a more seamless and instant take-off in your vehicle. By recuperating the brake energy, your Volvo can become more effective and powerful. Below you can find a list of key attributes of the 2022 Boost Hybrid Range:

● Brake energy recuperation

● Ensures smooth but greater power

● Enhanced day-to-day drivability

● Fuel economy advancements

● Improved engine response

● Improved Start / Stop performance

● Noise and vibration improvements

Boost Your Comfort

Volvo PH also offers MIAS guests who will drop by the Volvo Retail Exhibit a safe and comfortable viewing and retail experience. Round-the-clock disinfection and sanitation of all units and frequently-touched surfaces will be conducted. Strict adherence to health and safety protocols will also be observed. QR codes for every vehicle on display will also be provided so guests can discover the distinct features of each vehicle by simply scanning the code.

“We put extra attention to detail, as always. Volvo has always been a brand about people. As we drive towards a post-pandemic world, we aim that everyone inside and outside our cars can have the freedom to move in a personal, sustainable, and safe way,” shares Volvo PH CEO and President Atty. Albert B. Arcilla. “We have made it our mission to make life better, easier, and safer for everyone.
