This is What the New Lexus ES Looks Like

Around a week ago, Lexus announced that it woul be unveiling a new vehicle that would "radically transform your concept of luxury". Many in the automotive beat speculated that it would be the all-new ES. True enough, Toyota's luxury divsion will indeed reveal the nameplate's latest iteration in Bejing next week.

Thanks to a teaer video, Lexus shows the world what it can expect once the new midsize sedan comes out. Looking a lot sharper than the model it replaces, the car is clearly targeted at a younger market.

The front end is dominated by the large spindle grille that ties it in with the rest of the family. This is flanked by sleek LED headlamps and daytime running lights that all combine to give the car its signature face. Adding a sporty touch are the large air vents on the bumper.

Moving over to the side, the roofline is familiar ES, which isn't exactly a bad thing. That's because the old car was already quite sleek on its own. A few details like the grey mirror caps and other touches give the car a more youthful vibe.

Ufortunately, this is all that we know for now. Rest assured, however, that we will let you in on the full story once the new Lexus ES is revealed at Auto China 2018 on April 25, 2018.
