British car brand MG, through its official local distributor The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI), has engaged an exciting partnership with ONE Championship, the number one sports media property in Asia. The agenda; to not only promote sports to Filipinos, but also to give one lucky attendee a chance to drive home a brand new car!

Dubbed as the “Weekend Crossover”, this cool promo ties in with the ONE Dawn of Heroes MMA competition which will happen on August 2, 2019 at the SM Mall of Asia ARENA.

Up for grabs is a brand new MG ZS Style Plus Crossover decked with a special “Champion Edition” livery. On top of that, the winner will also get a once-in-a-lifetime, all-expenses paid, VIP trip to meet and train with Filipino MMA powerhouse Team Lakay in their hometown of Baguio City.

The MG Philippines/ONE Championship “Weekend Crossover” promo entitles each event ticket holder to one (1) coupon which he or she will drop off at the raffle box in the venue. Deadline for raffle entries is 8 pm on August 2, 2019. A winner will be drawn at random and announced live at the event.

“MG is a new contender in the local automotive market, and we recognize that by partnering with ONE Championship, who upholds the values of integrity, honor, respect, and courage, we are able to communicate our brand’s strengths to an audience that closely identifies with our products and our value proposition. MG Philippines and ONE Championship are driven to achieve greatness, and this partnership allows both our companies to explore new ways of doing things, in an effort to provide exciting and innovative products and promotions for everyone to enjoy,” says Lyn Buena, MG Philippines’ Director and Senior Vice President for Marketing and Communications Services.
