BMW Car Club of the Philippines to host 2017 Bimmerfest in BGC Taguig

The BMW Car Club of the Philippines (BMWCCP), the only Philippine-based BMW owners association recognized by the International Council of BMW Car Clubs, will be holding its 2017 edition of the Bimmerfest. It will happen on August 13 (Sunday) at the Uptown Parade Grounds in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig.

In review, the Bimmberfest is a prestigious gathering of BMW car owners from around the world. First held locally in 1999, the said luxury motor show is now on its 14th year of celebrating the passion and camaraderie between BMW owners and enthusiasts.

For this year, the Bimmerfest is expected to become even bigger with over 300 BMW owners expected to showcase their rides. These include BMW automobiles spanning from the timeless classic eras of the early 20th century to the sleek, modern examples seen on the road today. In addition, a host of Motorrad motorcycles from various BMW riders nationwide will also be on display.

“We are all united by our passion for the brand, which is known worldwide as the “Ultimate Driving Machine.” We want to share with everyone why we love BMW and why it’s such a great investment,” said BMWCCP President Erix Ang.

The 14th BMW Bimmerfest Philippines is co-presented by Shell V-Power Nitro+. As regard, it will sponsor games for the exhibitors and attendees. A number of Shell fuel vouchers and freebies will be given away. Moreover, the Bimmerfeat car competition will be fuelled up with excitement as trophies and prizes will be up for grabs for the contest’s Best Stock, Best Modified, and Best Classic cars.

Finally, BMWCCP will take the 14th Bimmerfst Philippines as an opportunity to unveil its SYNERGY, an E90 official service vehicle it acquired from Asian Carmakers Corporation (ACC), the official importer and distributor of BMW vehicles in the Philippines. In detail, the SYNERGY will serve an important role in the club’s monthly fun drives and activities by providing mechanical assistance for unexpected breakdowns during long drives.

According to BMWCCP, participating in the Bimmerfest as an exhibitor comes with an entry fee of P1,500 for those who’ll register from August 1 ‘til the event day (as walk-in exhibitor). However, one can avail of an “early bird” discount of P1,000 until July 15 only. For those who’ll register from July 16 to 31, the entry fee will be P1,250.
