Many are aware that a large number of GrabCar owners are private motorists trying to make a decent living. Through the efforts of companies like Grab Philippines, these hardworking men and women are given the chance to earn a living while helping to provide safe and reliable transport to the riding public.
Chevron Philippines, marketer of Caltex fuels and lubricants in the country, recognizes their hard work and shows its support via a partnership that aims to make life easier for Grab drivers and the riding public as well. The partnership will see the distribution of around 10,000 Save Plus cards in various parts of the country.
Set to be deployed in key cities around the Philippines, the Save Plus cards will entitle Grab drivers to P2 per liter discounts on gasoline and P1 per liter on diesel. By the same token, drivers can get additional rebates each time they fill up. This can be redeemed as Top Up Load each week. The virtual currency will come in handy in picking up more passengers. Ultimately, both driver and passenger can benefit from this.
