Caltex PH launches Techron D Concentrate diesel fuel system cleaner

Chevron Philippines, Inc. (CPI), maker of the Caltex brand of fuels and lubricants, recently launched a new product called Techron D Concentrate. It’s a high-performing diesel fuel system cleaning additive that CPI claims would help diesel engines perform like new again.

Over time, the diesel fuel system can get dirty and clogged with impurities or deposits, especially on the tips of the fuel injectors. This, in turn, hampers the otherwise even spray pattern of the fuel injectors. As a result, the engine receives inefficient amounts of fuel, which causes loss of power, increased fuel consumption, and higher emissions.

This is where the Caltex Techron D Concentrate comes in handy. It’s specially-formulated with the brand’s proprietary Techron technology, and comes with Cetane Improver that deep cleans the entire fuel system, injector tips and all. The impurities are then expelled out of the engine via the exhaust system.

By adding the Caltex Techron D Concentrate into the mix, users will experience restored engine power, decreased fuel consumption, and improved emissions. On top of those, CPI says that the additive would also improve the engine’s responsiveness and drivability, reduce engine noise, and smooth out cold star problems.

CPI added that the Caltex Techron D Concentrate will not harm the engine, its fuel system, and particulate filters. It can be used on old or modern diesel engines. Best of all, it and can be mixed with all types of diesel fuels from brands other than Caltex.

Now, motorist can expect more with having superior clean engines,” said Hafiz Nasar, Finished Lubricants, Area Business Manager.

Note that after the introductory promo, the Caltex Techron D Concentrate will be available for an SRP of P450.
