Ferrari is about to celebrate its 70th birthday next year. In true Prancing Horse fashion, the Italian supercar maker announced a series of activities, cars, and other goodies to mark its diamond year. This was done at this year’s recently held Paris Motor Show.

At the center of the action was the celebratory anniversary logo. This one-of-a-kind design showcases the marque’s attention to detail and its very own styling cues. It is a mix of past and future that will adorn a number of limited-edition models.

Speaking of special versions, Ferrari also announced the creation of 70 unique liveries by the Tailor Made atalier. These one-of-a-kind designs will be applied on a total of just 350 cars. Modern as they are, these Ferraris’ design liveries hark back to the glorious past, recalling such greats as the 250 GT Berlinetta of the 1960s, among many others.

Apart from these, Ferrari also took the opportunity to show off the new GTC4Lusso T. Taking its cue from the newest four-seat V12 GT, the T takes all the goodness of the variant and throws in a more “efficient” yet still powerful V8 motor. The 3.9-liter turbo V8 produces 610hp at 7,500rpm and 760Nm between 3,000-5,250rpm. Beyond the stunning numbers, the GTC4Lusso T utilizes the latest four-wheel steering system with such tech goodies as SCM-E, ESP 9.0, and a third-ge Side Slip Control.

All this allows the rear-wheel drive sports car to sprint from 0-100kph in just 3.5 seconds while 200 from rest is achieved in an equally scant 10.5 ticks. Plus, Ferrari promises that the car will have its own soundtrack that may soon become music to any car nut’s ears.

It looks like exciting times are ahead for Ferrari in 2017.
