Hyundai Asia Resources Inc (HARI), official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in the country, is cashing in on the lucrative UV Express market as it recently introduced the latest variant to its vaunted Grand Starex lineup—the Grand Starex Super Express.

This newest offering aims to up the ante in the commuter van segment by offering a more premium feel and vibe to the class. The lines alone, which are shared with the Grand Starex—a favorite among many Filipino families—make it a cut above other flat-nosed vans.  That design also pays off handsomely in giving a quieter ride, thanks in no small part to the front-engined layout.

The 2.5-liter TCI motor promises powerful performance even under a full od of passengers and cargo. And since there is no motor under the driver’s seat, the cabin stays cool all throughout the journey.

Speaking of cool, the Grand Starex Super Express’s airconditioning vents are strategically positioned all the way from the front seats to the last row. And with the dual sliding doors, entry and exit is a breeze. Plus, the best part is that the Grand Starex Super Express can seat 15 people in comfort. It’s truly the perfect ride for shuttle services, school bus operators, and of course, the now popular UV Express.

The Hyundai Grand Starex Super Express retails for P1,398,000 and is available at all Hyundai dealers.
