The service is essentially a smartphone app that seeks to enhance the aftersales service experience of the Toyota brand.
Available on both the Android and iOS mobile platforms, Toyota Connect features access to a dedicated 24/7 call center service. This will give all Toyota owners the opportunity to interact with well-trained customer care agents who can help them familiarize themselves with their new Toyota, as well as provide troubleshooting tips, arrange Preventive Maintenance Service schedules, and basically help keep their Toyota in top form.
Apart from this, the app also has a Navigation Experience, which is a 3D map, traffic information, speed limit info, and intersection reference. These are aimed at helping drivers plan their route and avoid those horrendous traffic jams. The app even offers features such as live service updates for your Toyota, as well as e-payment facilities. It is truly designed to make life easier for any Toyota owner.
At present, the Toyota Connect service is only avialalbe in the Indian market. But with Toyota being a household name worldwide, we should see a similar service in various markets real soon.
