KTM, the renowned motorcycle brand, may have only been officially available in the country for a few months now. But since the Ayala-owned Philippine dealership opened its doors in Bonifacio Global City, brand awareness has slowly but surely picked up. To further boost its presence, KTM, through Adventure Cycle Philippines Inc (ACPI), held its Orange Day Tour kick-off event earlier today at Italianni’s BGC in Taguig.
Attended by motorcycle clubs, riders, and distinguished guests, the KTM Orange Day Tour seeks to promote the marque among Filipinos. To make things more interesting, event participants were treated to test rides, a display of the latest KTM models, a raffle with some very cool prizes, and a stunt show with rider Rok Bagoros. Enthusiasts may recall that he likewise performed during the opening of the BGC showroom last September.
As for the Orange Tour, it will commence on the 4th of February at Café Racer, Ouanio Ave, Cebu City. It will be followed by an event to be held at Blip Bacolod, Lacson st, Bata Highway, Bacolod City on February 11. Finally, it will cap off at Filinvest Drive, Alabang on February 18. Apart from bringing the KTM brand closer to the people, there are likewise new dealerships being planned—with 5 new ones within the next few months. The marque hopes to up the number of stores from the current 19 to 31 by the end of 2017.
Of course, the Orange Day Tour and the kick-off event held today were just a few among the many activities lined up for the year. It looks to be an exciting year for KTM and motorcycle enthusiasts across the country.
