A little less than a year after its establishment, the Ayala-owned KTM dealership network in the country seems set to rev its engines even louder. Adventure Cycle Philippines Inc (ACPI) recently put its motorcycle assembly plant operations in high gear.
Held at the IMI plant in Binan, Laguna, the historic ceremony was graced by no less than AC Industrials Technology Holdings Inc. Chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in the motorcycle firm’s thrust to provide quality products to the country and the surrounding region.
When in full swing, the KTM plant is projected to churn out some 20,000 vehicles. A large portion of these will be for the local market while the rest will be for export to China and the ASEAN region.
