For many car enthusiasts, summer usually means one thing: motor shows galore. The warmest time of the year is likewise the time when various exhibitions and test drive events are staged for the enjoyment of the motoring public. And for the past 25 years, one name has stood out and withstood the test of time: TransSportShow.
The ongoing 26th TransSportShow once again brings together the best of the best from the automotive aftermarket scene. Apart from different car brands and modifications, a host of car accessories, gadgets, and parts suppliers will be on hand to display and sell their wares. Besides the toys for the big boys atmosphere, the show will also hold various mini events that highlight the latest in the aftermarket segment. No less than two of the biggest names from Japan’s aftermarket arena will wow show guests in a meet and greet event on April 21, 2017 (moved to April 22 as per TransSportShow Facebook Page). These are Options Magazine founder Daijiro Inada and Spoon Sports founder Tatsuru Ichishima.

This year’s TransSportShow will likewise see the TransSportShow Cup Competition, a contest that will pit the country’s best car restorers and automotive shops against each other in a bid for automotive excellence. The 4th Tour de Cebu will also be launched. The event, which is a nod to the historic Mille Miglia, is itself a venue where some of the most historic sports cars get to stretch their legs in a 1,000km run around the Visayas. Of course, these are just some of the things one will get to see and experience when one drops by the SMX Convention Center from April 20 to April 23.
