Different Mitsubishi car clubs, car enthusiasts attend biggest ever Mitsufest at the PH Arena in Bulacan

Car culture is, indeed, more fun in the Philippines. With that said, the enormous Philippine Arena in Bulacan recently played host to this year’s Mitsufest Philippines, a great gathering of different Mitsubishi car clubs united by 1 passion, to celebrate the history and success of the Japanese carmaker.

Now on its 2nd year under its event organizer It’s Happening Events, this year’s Mitsufest Philippines boasted over 500 car entries from more than 30 Mitsubishi car clubs, and hundreds more of visitors who were in for a weekend of fun and excitement.

Some of the car clubs that graced the occasion were the Caloocan Autoclub, Eclipse Club Philippines, Galant 7G Club, L300 Club of the Philippines, Lancer Street Kings, Lancer Boxtype Pilipinas, Lancer Drivers Club Philippines, Mirage Pilipinas, Mitsubishi Adventure Club, Mitsubishi Adventure Philippines, Mitsu Cabalen, Montero Sport Club Philippines, Team Mirage, United Montero Sport of the Philippines, World Wide Lancer Club, and more.

Across all the car clubs that were present, the 2017 Mitsufest Philippines picked numerous vehicles that have shown the qualifications to win the day’s collection of Best Of trophies. These awards include Best ‘80s, ‘90s, 2000s, and 2010s cars. In addition, there were those who were called on the stage to be given the All-Stock models, People’s Choice, Best Bodykits, Best in Car Entertainment, Best Paint, a number of awards for each generation of various Mitsubishi models, and the Best Car Club Award.

Finally, many activities were held, not just for the car enthusiasts, but for everyone in the vicinity. The highlight of which was the crowning of the 2017 Mr. and Ms. Mitsufest Philippines. To spice up the night, the popular OPM band called KJwan took center stage to perform a number of their popular hits.

All in all, it was a mighty fun day, and everyone was looking forward to an even bigger Mitsufest next year.
