British luxury carmaker Rolls-Royce Motor Cars recently appointed a new Regional General Manager to lead its Asia Pacific office in Singapore. Enter Patrik Wiik, a product development and marketing expert with over a decade of working experience in the corporate field of the global auto industry.
As regard, Wiik will take command of the regional office’s sales and product volume planning for the brand’s Asia Pacific market. Replacing the office’s former General Manager Michael Schneider, Wiik will be in charge of overseeing the business performances of Rolls-Royce’s 29 dealerships in the said region (excluding Mainland China). These dealerships include those from countries such as India, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, and the Philippines.
Of course in doing so, Wiik will report to Paul Harris, Rolls–Royce’s Asia Pacific Regional Director.
In review, Wiik boasts a 13-year working experiences under the BMW Group, Rolls-Royce parent company. With that said, he recently handled the position as Manager for sales planning, forecasting, and budgets for BMW’s Northern Europe offices located in Stockholm, Sweden.
One of Wiik’s interests is exploring and learning about different languages, an interest he found very useful as the BMW Group Northern Europe covers areas in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and the Baltic States. Coming is as Rolls-Royce’s new Asia Pacific Regional General Manager, he expects to learn more and explore vast business cultures in the said region.
