First came the BMW M4 CS. After the lightweight M Performance two-door comes another equally feather-light yet potent machine: the BMW M3 CS. As the name implies, this number takes all the best bits of the racy M3 and throws in more ponies to this comfortable yet sporty sedan.
It begins with a 3.0-liter TwinPower inline-6 turbo motor that delivers 460hp and 600Nm of torque. Those numbers are 10 more than the already powerful M3 with Competition Package and 28 horses more than the standard M3. Power is coursed to the drive wheels via 7-speed M Double Clutch Transmission with Drivelogic amd Active M Differential.
The extra ponies allow the BMW M3 CS to sprint from, rest to the century mark in just 3.7 seconds and hit an electronically-governed top speed of 280kph. Of course, the driver can have a bit of fun while getting up to, and staying, at speed. Thanks to Drivelogic, one can choose between Comfort, Sport, and Sport+, as well as tune the quad-pipe exhaust note to their liking.
