Manila once again gears up for this year’s staging of the Manila International Auto Show, to be held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. Happening from April 5 to 8, this year’s event has the theme Work and Play and promises to be yet another adrenaline-pumping gathering of the newest cars in the land, classic rides, and everything automotive in between.

Take, for instance, the display by The Covenant Car Company Inc. Chevrolet’s exclusive Philippine importer and distributor will showcase its latest offerings at its booth, aptly called the Chevrolet Play Hub. As the name suggests, the Hub will be a place where fun and excitement await visitors.

The star of the show this year is the all-new Chevrolet Malibu. Now packing a new body style and a potent 250hp, 353Nm 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder motor, it comes loaded with some segment-first features. These include an inductive mobile device charger, ventilated front seats, semi-autonomous parallel and perpendicular parking, and a slew of safety kit such as Lane Keep Assist, Forward Automatic Braking, and Side Blind Zone Alert, just to name a few.

The new Chevrolet Malibu is priced at P2,131,888

Apart from Chevrolet’s midsize sedan, the hot-selling Chevrolet Colorado and Trailblazer LTX variants return once more packing some cool new features. Both the pick-up truck and midsize SUV get stuff such as a hood decal, as well as red stitching accentuating the leather seats and steering wheel. The Colorado LTX adds some nifty toys like two-tone rear bed bar, running boards, bumper overrider, and 18-inch polished gunmetal wheels. All this wrapped in a new Blue Me Away hue.  The Chevrolet Trailblazer 4x2 LTX goes for P1,805,888 while the Colorado 4x2 LTX sells for P1,418,888.

Speaking of the Colorado, the pick-up has become the canvass for the MIAS-exclusive Chevy Colorado Hot Wheel Edition. This cool truck boasts accessories that befit its links to the world-famous toy brand.

And yes, the entire lineup of Chevy vehicles will be on hand for car enthusiasts and buyers to check out. Everything from the Trailblazer to the Trax to the Spark will be available, each one designed to suit various tastes and needs. These Chevy vehicles, by the way, come with MIAS-exclusive offers such as low downpayment terms to entice would-be buyers.

The Chevrolet Play Hub, however, isn’t just about cars. Those that want a slice of the Chevy lifestyle can check out the Connection Center. Here, they can purchase lifestyle items such as racing jackets, caps, shirts, and the like. Tech-savvy folks can check out everything Chevrolet via the Connection center App.

And what’s a visit to the Chevrolet Play Hub without sampling a cup of Yardstick Coffee. This special blend will surely appeal to coffee drinkers of all ages.

So check out these cool offerings from Chevrolet, as well as all the other exciting rides and events happening at MIAS 2018. Happening from April 5 to 8, 2018 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City
