Whether it admits it or not, the Philippine auto industry has been dampened by the recent passage of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN law. Higher prices have slowed down sales slightly compared to figures set this time last year.
Yet carmakers such as Subaru, through its Philippine distributor Motor Image Pilipinas, are finding ways to cushion the blow. One way is to offer huge discounts on various models. Case in point is the tempting offer on the Forester, Outback, and XV.
The new 2018 Subaru XV, for instance, can be had with an P80,000 discount off its suggested retail price. It, together with the Outback, even get the new EyeSight safety system. This cool piece of kit makes driving safer and more enjoyable by assisting the driver and helping one keep out of harm’s way. Speaking of the Outback, this one gets as much as P200,000 off its sticker price.
As for the hot-selling Subaru Forester, Motor Image is giving as much as P150,000 off the SRP. What all this means is that these three models come with prices that are even lower than their pre-TRAIN levels. Do hurry, however, as this cool offer is only available until the end of May 2018!
