Ford PH enjoys notable April 2018 sales increase, courtesy of the Ranger pickup

Ford Philippines is happily reporting that its April 2018 sales saw an impressive achievement of 1,836 units. This drove up its January 2018 to present month total sales of 8,284 units, mostly led by the Ranger pickup.

With regard, the Ranger’s April 2018 sales was capped at 798 units, a strong performance that led to a 15% increase on its year-to-date (January 2018 to present month) sales of 3,306 units vs. the same period last year.

The Everest midsize SUV and the EcoSport subcompact crossover also had their share of positive sales growth last April at 499 and 472 total units, in that order. These upped both vehicles’ year-to-date sales numbers at 2,258 and 2,314, respectively.

Finally, the recently launched new Mustang pony car was sold a total of 40 times last April, leading to its positive year-to-date sales feat of 151 units, as of this writing.

“With our fast growing customer base in the Philippines, we’re also continuing with efforts to further enhance the ownership experience, including a more competitive cost structure for our scheduled service maintenance and services that add more convenience for our customers,” concludes Ford Philippines Managing Director Bert Lessard.
