With quite a number of supercars making their debut at this year;s Monterey Car Week in California, Honda took the opportunity to show off its refreshed 2019 NSX at this very venue. Yes, the Japanese supercar gets a few tweaks to both its styling and chassis to keep things fresh for the new model year.
The chassis gets stiffer members and parts from and rear that help improve driving dynamics. Larger front and rear stabilizer bars translate to increased rigidity to aid in cornering and overall stability on the road. It’s all meant to give the driver a more enjoyable time behind the tiller—whether on the daily commute or out on the open road. All this pays off as the new NSX exhibited a two-second quicker lap time at Japan’s famous Suzuka Circuit.
Speaking of comfort, the cabin gets new Indigo Blue semi-aniline and Alcantara trim. Needless to say, a while host of trim and equipment options are available to allow owners to make the NSX truly their own. The enhancements continue outside with a new grille, front and rear bumper air intakes, and new wheels. All this can be wrapped in a new Thermal Orange paint scheme—in homage to the original car built some 30 years ago.
The 2019 Honda NSX will hit dealerships in October of this year.
