MG PH to make waves this summer with an awesome free concert series

Aside from the sand, the surf, and everything in between, what comes to mind when one thinks about summer season? For many, it’s music, entertainment, parties, parties, and more parties! Yup, summer is just around the corner, and what better way to welcome it than with a huge concert party... for FREE!

With that being said, British carmaker MG, through its official local distributor The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI), in partnership with Phoenix Petroleum, will be gearing up for a slew of free concert events in key SM malls around the metro and at the 2019 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

It’s called the MG Live!, a concert series that will bring together the country’s top bands in the music scene to welcome the hottest season of the year. It will also be the avenue for car enthusiasts and would-be car buyers to take a good look at MG’s latest line of automobiles that evoke a fun, vibrant lifestyle.

Concert goers will get to see exciting performances from electro-pop-rock specialists Gracenote, the always party-ready Sandwich, alternative rock trio Hilera, pop-rock foursome Moonstar88, and Ultra Combo for everyone who enjoys rocking out to the music of the Eraserheads.

Along with these top music acts, MG will display its latest line of automobiles like the MG 6 fastback sedan and the RX5 compact SUV. One can also embark on a test drive to get a feel of how these MGs behave on the road. And to spice things up, the first MG Live! Concert event will see the launch of the 2019 MG ZS crossover.

  • March 9 at SM Megamall Fashion Hall (feat. Gracenote and Sandwich)
  • March 30 at SM Southmall (feat. Hilera and Moonstar88)
  • April 6 at the 2019 MIAS (feat. Ultra Combo)

Finally, the MG Live! Free concert series will display the classic MBG V8 2-door as homage to the brand’s rich heritage.
