The opening of Hyundai Trucks and Buses Cainta bags numerous orders as well as kicks off Negoshow One

A show of force for transport modernization. Hyundai and national and local government officials are one for Cainta’s advancement. At the grand launch of Hyundai Trucks and Buses Cainta (HTB-Cainta) were (L-R) HTB-Cainta General Manager Jonathan Qua, Cainta Municipal Administrator Angel Talaga, LICA Auto Group COO Doroteo Sornet, Shaw Automotive Resources, Inc. The recent opening of Hyundai Trucks and Buses Cainta was not just another new dealership welcoming the public to check out its products and avail of its services.

The ceremony was also a significant one for the Korean automaker’s Commercial Vehicle arm as it bagged a sizable number of orders that day.

To be more specific, HTB Cainta received 1,200 orders for its H-100 Modern Jeepney Class 1, HD505 Modern Jeepney Class 2, and Hyundai Modern Jeepney Class 3.

These were made by various transport cooperatives who wished to upgrade their units to comply with the Department of Transportation’s PUV Modernization Program.

Apart from the opening of the LICA Group-owned facility, the ceremony also signaled the start of the three-day Negoshow One expo.

Patterned after Hyundai Motor Company’s global mobility expos, this one gave industry insiders a chance to see what\s hot in the transport and mobility front.

By the same token, it showed off what one can expect to see in the sector in the near future.

Of course, top brass from Hyundai Motor Company, Hyundai Asia Resources Inc., and key government Departments were on hand to grace the affair.

Being located in one of the most progressive cities in the country, Hyundai Trucks and Buses Cainta aims to  serve the needs not only of this ever-growing city but its surrounding environs as well.

Close to 20 transport groups showed their strong support for the government’s PUV Modernization Program by signing their intent to order 1,200 units of Hyundai H-100 Modern Jeepneys Class 1, Hyundai HD50S Modern Jeepneys Class 2, and the Hyundai Modern Jeepneys Class 3. The MOU signing took place at the inauguration of HTB-Cainta in the presence of (L to R) LICA Auto Group COO LICA Auto Group, LICA Auto Group Chairman Felix Limcaoco III, HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo, and HMC CV Europe & Asia Pacific Team Leader Manyong Han.
