Isuzu PH ramps up COVID-19 relief efforts, lends two more PUVs to transport front liners

Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) is going all-out in doing whatever it can to help fight the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Following its initial salvo of lending PUVss and a squad of D-Max and mu-X units as front liner transport vehicles, it recently deployed two new commercial buses to ferry even more front liners to and from hospitals and quarantine areas in Luzon. As with its previous efforts, the brand sought partnership with the Department of Transportation or DOTr to make things possible.

In a short status update by IPC on its official Facebook page, it was quoted as saying, “Isuzu Philippines lends additional two units of Isuzu NLR PUV to the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to provide more units for DOTr’s FREE BUS SERVICE for front liners, now servicing 19 routes in Luzon.”

IPC, however, didn’t go into too much detail as to the areas covered by the said transport vehicles. But from where its headquarters is located (Santa Rosa Laguna), it can be concluded that the units span a huge portion of Southern Luzon and some parts of Metro Manila, Central, and Northern Luzon.
