Porsche Makes the 911 Turbo S More Exclusive

As sports cars go, the Porsche 911 Turbo S is way up there with the best of them. Putting out 580hp makes it one of the most potent machines in the business. But apparently, Porsche thinks that’s not enough. And not exclusive enough as well.

This is why Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur has just tweaked the 911 Turbo S and eked out some 27 more horses from the 3.8-liter biturbo flat-six. The result is 607hp and 750Nm of torque. This allows the sports car to blast from rest to the century mark in just 2.9 ticks, hit 200 in 9.6 seconds, and go all the way to a 330km top speed.

Beyond the lighting-quick figures, the new Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive is a showcase of sporty luxury. Its exclusive Golden Yellow Metallic paintwork, for instance, is applied using new laser technology. Then there are the PCCB ceramic brakes painted in black with the Golden Yellow Porsche logo, covered by black 20-inch rims with central locking.

These touches are complemented by carbon components in places like the roof, hood, and side skirts, along with the pair of carbon weave strips on these same areas. At the rear, the Turbo S Exclusive gets a new rear apron, a rear wing from the Turbo Aerokit, a ram-air scoop finished in carbon fiber, and twin tailpipes set in black stainless steel. The look is capped off by Porsche Exclusive plates on the wings.

The cabin is just as exclusive, with double layered leather for the 18-way adjustable sports seats, Golden Yellow stripes accentuating the seats’ inside layer, Turbo S lettering on the headrests, and on the Alcantara roof lining. Of course, illuminated door plates and a plate featuring the limited edition number are part of the inside story.

Besides the more potent mill, the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Sport Chrono Package, rear-axle steering, and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control are part of the package and provide the utmost in driving pleasure.

As if having only 500 copies of the Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive are not, err, exclusive enough, Porsche will throw in a Porsche Design Chronograph 911 Turbo S Exclusive, set in the same design as one’s ride. It’s the perfect partner to keep track of your performance on the track and on those open stretches of road.

As mentioned above, only 500 units of the hand-built Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive will be made available.
