The recently concluded Asian Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup, which was held on November 19, 22, and 25, was a fun-filled event for all members of the family.

Football fans, for instance, got to see their favorite teams duke it out at the Philippine Stadium in Bocaue, Bulacan. There was even a grand motorcade to send off the players on the first day, joined by members of the Suzuki Motorcycle and Car Clubs. Aaprt from the large group, students from the country’s top universities—De la Salle University, Ateneo de Manila University, University of the Philippines, University of the East, and Far Easter University—also witnessed the various matches.

On the last day, children from the JCI Manila—GK Smokey Mountain Football Club got to experience watching the games from the best seats in the house. This was Suzuki Philippines’ way of inspiring them to hopefully give the sport a try. Who knows? One of them might just be the next football superstar.

As for the non-football fans, they, too, were treated to a colorful display of a large arc balloon and giant soccer ball at the Suzuki Village. The Suzuki Village also played host to the complete lineup of Suzuki cars and motorbikes—including a specially-designed AFF Suzuki Swift. And of course, a lot of prizes were given away during the three-day event.

The AFF Suzuki Cup was truly a treat which everyone enjoyed.
