As Honda continues to push for sales of its latest-generation Comfortable Runabout Vehicle (CR-V), which debuted its fifth iteration sometime last year, the Japanese carmaker now fields a more environment-friendly version at no less than Auto Shanghai 2017. Enter the Honda CR-V Hybrid.

While it may look like the more svelte new model from the outside, the CR-V Hybrid hides something special underneath the metal. This comes in the form of a twin-motor Sport Hybrid system, dubbed i-MMD. The innovative and earth-friendly system promises exceptional driving fun and fantastic fuel economy at the same time. Plus, its low-emissions nature is perfect for today’s stringent environment standards.

Apart from the green drivetrain, the Honda CR-V Hybrid promises to be a truly safe vehicle as well. Thanks to Honda Sensing, the suite of driver assistance and safety systems, one will be assured of a safe and stress-free time behind the wheel.

The Honda CR-V Hybrid will go on sale in China in the second half of the year, courtesy of Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co Ltd.
