Around a week or so ago, Volkswagen fans were saddened to hear that the German car brand will be killing one of its models, namely the VW CC. The stylish four-door coupe gave a bit of Porsche Panamera-like touches at a more affordable price.
But as the CC goes off into the sunset, Volkswagen is set to introduce an even sleeker looking iteration, the Arteon. Set to be positioned above the Passat, the Arteon will boast a slippery profile with frameless doors. Yes, no frames for all four side doors. This will give the four-door cope a truly sporty vibe.
Besides the svelte lines, the Arteon will also have loads of space inside. The car is said to be bigger than the Passat, which is already a midsize offering on its own. What sets this one apart is the hinge boot, or rear hatch, that affords loads of cargo space that only a versatile hatchback can give. This makes the Arteon a practical grand tourer.
The Volkswagen Arteon will make its world premiere at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show and will go on sale soon thereafter.
