Folks who attend the Manila International Auto Show on a regular basis may have noticed that there were quite a number of new attendees this year. One of the newcomers is compact car maker Suzuki Philippines, which put on quite a show.

The Japanese vehicle maker didn’t just bring its formidable vehicle lineup to the show but likewise did so with a lot of fanfare to boot. On hand were the Ciaz, the all-new Vitara, and the Ertiga seven-seat MPV. Apart from the cars and SUVs, the Hayabusa was also on hand to treat lovers of two-wheeled rides.

Suzuki also took the opportunity to showcase the upcoming Suzuki Dzire four-door sedan. The subcompact offering, which was launched in India earlier this year, brings new technologies such as the Auto Gear Shift that promises the efficiency of a manual and the convenience of an automatic. The Dzire isn’t a new nameplate as it has ben selling in market for quite some time now. Yet this latest model boasts of a more appealing look.

And of course, Suzuki reached out to the non-car lovers as well as it invited Ertiga Influencer Kelly Misa and Vitara Influencer Mikael Daez. Both celebrities were likewise joined by the Suzuki Safety Scouts who reminded show guests about the importance of road safety—whether on two or four wheels.

The Suzuki show at MIAS 2018 was a follow-up to the momentum started by the brand early this year. Thanks to strong sales and a growing dealer network, Suzuki continues to be on its way to bigger and better things in the Philippine market.
