Air pollution has long been a major problem in many large cities around the world.  One doesn’t need to look far, as Metro Manila itself is considered to have one of the highest levels of air pollution. Yet all is not lost, thanks to the efforts of groups like EMotors and The Net Group.

The two companies recently announced that they will join forces to provide electric shuttle (e-shuttle) services to The Net Group’s staff, tenants, and other stakeholders. Now, these folks who live or work in green buildings like Net Park and Net Lima in posh Bonifacio Global City in Taguig can get around in electric shuttles like EMotors’ ZuM.

EMotors is a local assembler of electric three-wheeled vehicles. It has gained recognition for being the official APEC electric mobility partner, as well as forging partnerships with companies like PepsiCo, Astoria Group, and 2GO, just to name a few. The Net Group, on the other hand, is a developer of environment-friendly green buildings that are designed to have a minimal impact on our planet’s resources.

With the partnership, the group aims to help address issues like Women’s Welfare (by providing a safe transport solution for women), livelihood (providing jobs to drivers who can earn a living minus the stress usually associated with this type of work), and of course, helping clean up the worsening air pollution.

The EMotors ZuM e-shuttle service will be available at The Net Group buildings in Bonifacio Global City.
