As the motoring world gears up for the 45th Tokyo Motor Show this October, a lot of car companies are likewise whetting our automotive appetites with their various teasers. The latest one to let us in on what it has in store is Subaru. And it seems to have a lot of goodies lined up this year.

At the center of the action is the VIZIV Performance Concept Sedan. The name alone gives us a hint of how exciting this future Subaru promises to be. Yet like all Subies, the VIZIV Performance Concept embodies the core values of Enjoyment and Peace of Mind—meaning you can have fun behind the wheel while still feeling safe and secure.

Speaking of performance, Subaru has something in store for driving aficionados. The S208 is based on the Impreza WRX STI and offers an improved take on the S207 introduced back in 2015. When we say improved, we’re talking about a better engine, suspension, and other driving bits. While Subaru will disclose more details at the Tokyo Motor Show, it did reveal that only 450 units of the S208 will be offered.

Those who want more exclusivity can opt for the Subaru BRZ STI Sport. Yes, the practical sports car gets some tweaking from Subaru’s motorsport arm STI, with goodies like a more rigid body and enhanced suspension bits. This gives the already balanced performer even better grip and comfort. Plus, a special Cool Grey Khaki paint scheme will be available. As mentioned, only 100 units will be offered,  the owners of which will be determined by lottery.

Those folks that want a bit of outdoor fun can check out the Subaru Outback Limited Sport Edition. This one gives the already capable yet luxurious Outback even more pizzazz with such touches as exterior and interior enhancements and more upscale features. Those that want the same adventurous spirit may just find it in the Subaru XV Fun Adventure Concept. This number adds off-road tires and a fun yellow paint scheme that makes the already chic XV an even more eye-catching off-road warrior.

In true Subaru fashion, the Impreza Future Sport Concept gives us a peek into what driving enjoyment could look like, Subaru-style. The reshaped bumpers, lower center of gravity, and added bits all hint at driving pleasure. And the yellow exterior finish simply emphasizes this point even further.

Check out the Subaru exhibit and other cool cars at this year’s 45th Tokyo Motor Show, happening on October 25-November 5, 2017.
