Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), the exclusive local distributor of Honda cars and SUVs, recently joined the BRV Philippines Owners Club on its Grand Eyeball last July 1, 2018 at Honda Cars Kalookan.

The event served as an avenue for the club members to share a Sunday’s worth of fun, excitement, and camaraderie, all gear toward celebrating the passion for the brand and its BR-V model.

The Honda BR-V is a small and sleek vehicle which HCPI launched back in 2016 to stir up the country’s hotly-contested compact crossover market. Its trump car is its 7-seat capacity, which makes it an ideal ride for small families or for those who like to travel in and around the city with the barkada. It’s powered by a gasoline-fed Euro 4 compliant 1.5L iVTEC engine that’s mated to an Earth Dreams technology CVT.

Because of its competitive pricing and a whole host of features, the BR-V attracted a number of buyers and a considerably huge following. It also gained the attention of the Car Awards Group, Inc. (CAGI), which gave it the Best Compact Crossover title during the 2017 Car of the Year Philippines (COTY-P) awards. This eventually led to the birth of the BRV Philippines Owners Club.

To date, the BRV Philippines Owners Club now has more than 1,600 members from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on its newly-established official Facebook Group page. Its members count even reached overseas as it officially states that the club accepts OFW members as well.

During the grand eyeball, over a hundred of the club’s member came. They were greeted not just by the Honda Cars Kalookan staffs, but also HCPI’s President himself; Noriyuki Takakura. He joined the celebration and went on to host the event’s many activities, including contests and raffles.
