Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) recently kicked off the construction of a new dealership in Batangas. The good news is that this new facility will focus on the Korean brand’s line of commercial vehicles.
To be called the Hyundai Trucks and Buses Batangas City, it will be built along the Diversion Road in Balagtas, Batangas City. It will also be owned and operated by the Shaw Automotive Resources, Inc. (SARI), the same company that handles the soon-to-rise NDE-designed Hyundai Marikina dealership.
In this regard, HARI and SARI chose Batangas City for its stance as the industrial heart of the CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) region.
“The Batangas Port serves as the international gateway for industrial and commercial trade with the rest of the world, requiring vast potential for moving international cargo, local produce and people. With the valuable addition of Hyundai Trucks and Buses Batangas to our Hyundai CV dealer network, we are empowered to move the economy further.” said HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo.
On his part, SARI President Felix Limcaoco III shared that his company is at the ready to address the growing mobility needs of Batangas City. He also underscored that the new Hyundai Trucks and Buses Batangas City will help improve the region’s logistics and transport sectors.
