For a little over three decades, Porsche has been giving its models a more refined and powerful vibe via the Exclusive Manufaktur touch. Owners who don’t find their 911s or Caymans upscale enough usually opt for this treatment.  Now, it’s the best-selling Porsche Mcan’s turn to receive a more exclusive touch. Enter the Porsche Macan Turbo Exclusive Performance Editon.

While that may sound like a mouthful, this customized version put together by hand at the brand’s Leipzig factory dons quite a few touches that set it apart from the “regular” top-spec Macan Turbo. These include LED lighting front and rear, Carmine Red accents on the front spoiler, rear apron, and sideblades, and 21-inch 911 Turbo Design alloy wheels. These are matched by gloss black PORSCHE and Carmine Red Macan Turbo lettering at the rear.

Just like the exterior, the cabin naturally gets a few bits that befit its Exclusive moniker. The leather seats are complemented by Alcantara accents, as well Garnet Red front seat bolsters, seatbelts, accent stitching, and the Turbo lettering on the headrests. And more of the red stuff can be seen on the Sport Chrono Package stopwatch and PDK gear lever.

This being the Macan Turbo, a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 motor resides under the hood. In this Exclusive’s case, however, it packs 40 more horses at 440hp and 600Nm of torque. This allows it to blast from 0-100kph in 4.4 seconds, do the 80-120kph in-gear run in 2.9 ticks, and head to a 272kph top speed.

Needless to say, the excellent ride and handling are complemented by a 15mm lower setting for the sports suspension, as well as even more potent brakes.

Porsche is now taking orders for the Porsche Macan Turbo Exclusive Performance Edition.
