Coinciding with the surprise digital launch of the Jeep Renegade, Auto Nation Group (ANG) also went ahead and brought in the Compass compact crossover. By doing so, it further solidified the official local distributor’s successful efforts in adapting to the so-called “new normal” ways of doing car launch events amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent quarantine implementations.

Unveiled during last year’s Manila International Auto Show, the Compass carries on the Jeep brand’s signature muscular design. Heading its way is the 7-slot designed front grille, flanked by a pair of sleek headlights with daytime running lights for an all-day/all-night clear view of the road ahead.

On the side, it’s got silver aluminum wheels with all-season tires that compliment its bold silhouette. The rear is emphasized by its LED tail lamps which brings out its athletic design and leaves a mark with every turn. The Compass surely features many iconic Jeep styling cues that give it an unmistakable look, which fits nicely within the Jeep line-up.

Inside, the Compass is equipped with a 7” Touch screen display with 6 speakers infotainment system. It is powered by UConnect 4 system with Apple Carplay – providing seamless experience and making navigation a breeze. With the integrated voice command, just say the destination and you’re off to it! The system is also equipped with Baidu carlife app. The Compass also gives ample storage ready for your next adventure. The side roof rails provides secure attachment points for your sports equipment.

Under the hood, the Jeep Compass moves with a 1.4L turbo engine with Engine Stop Start, partnered with a 7-speed Dual Dry Clutch Transmission, the small crossover delivers 162 hp and 250Nm of torque.

Parking is always a breeze with the ParkView Rear back-up camera and ParkSense Rear Park Assist system. Always drive with confidence with the Electronic Stability Control, providing you instant aid during extreme steering maneuvers. Don’t worry; the Electric Park Brake is ready to stop the vehicle quickly and evenly anytime when engaged.

Now available in the Philippines, the Jeep Compass is stickered at P1,850,000. And here’s some more good news. Just like what ANG offers the Renegade buyers, those interested in getting the Compass are in for a Launch Discount of P50,000. This promo is valid from May 18 to June 30 only.
