To say that the country’s commercial vehicle sector is growing seems to be an understatement. This notion is backed up by the recent purchase of Fuso trucks by leading cargo and logistics company MetroPac Movers Inc.
While this may not exactly sound like big news, it must be noted that this delivery involved no less than 270 Fuso trucks. The fleet is made up of 177 Canter FE71 trucks, 23 FIVIP 6-wheeler medium duty trucks, and 70 FJY1W 10-wheelers.
The Metro Pacific Investments Group subsidiary noted that it chose Mitsubishi Fuso for its reliability and quality. The purchase also reflects the growing demand for such vehicles, with the segment growing by roughly 44 percent compared to the same period last year.
“With this growing demand, trust that we will continue to offer superior products relevant to the needs of the market while putting customer satisfaction at the center of our goals at all times”, said Mr. Mutsuhiro Oshikiri, MMPC President and CEO.
MetroPac Movers Inc took delivery of the said fleet, with a turnover ceremony held at its truck yard in Laguna International Light Park in Binan, Laguna. The affair was graced by both MMPC and MMI executives.
