The 2017 Mitsubishi Montero Sport now comes with Ultrasonic Misacceleration Mitigation System and Adaptive Cruise Control.
The former helps prevent parking lot collisions by modulating engine output if the accelerator is accidentally depressed hard while in low speed conditions—in both forward and reverse. This is complemented by audible and visual warnings to alert drivers of impending impact.
