As Porsche continues its year-long 70th birthday celebration, the German brand prepares for the largest gathering of Porsche owners and enthusiasts in Southeast Asia. Dubbed Sportscar Together Day, the event is slated for July 14, 2018 at the Show DC Oasis Arena in central Bangkok.

Scheduled to begin at 1pm, the afternoon part of the affair will be a family-friendly tribute to everything Porsche. The Kids and kids-at-heart can try out the Virtual Reality Experience and E-Performance showcase. There will likewise be a Kids Driving School to let the young ones have a go at the wheel. Speaking of rides, the 919 Hybrid will make a special stopover while the public can get to ride in the 918 Spyder.

To really experience the essence of Porsche, fans will be treated to Das Treffen, a 200-plus car meet-up of Porsche models past and present. Owners will come in from Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Singapore in what promises to be a glorious sight and sound experience. Adding fuel to the fire is the Carrera Cup Asia one make race, which will have a live feed from Bangsaen.

And of course, what’s a Porsche gathering without some authentic German food and beer? The Porsche Curves Care will set up stalls that will serve German and local cuisine and free-flowing beer. This will surely put everyone in the mood for a party that very same nigt, lasting all the way until midnight.

Yes, the Porsche Sportscar Together Day promises to be one awesome 70th birthday bash.
