The Subaru Levorg has been around for a couple or so years now, giving car enthusiasts the chance to experience the marque’s rally heritage in a more practical package. And while it is a very good package, many seemed to pine for a bit more oomph, especially when they find out about the 2.0-liter trubo mil being sold in other markets.
Well, those who you who want that more potent lump will be happy to know that Motor Image Pilipinas is finally bringing in the Levorg 2.0 GT-S EyeSight. As the name suggests, this new variant will be powered by the 2.0-liter turbocharged FA20 flat-4 motor that pumps put 268hp and a rousing 350Nm of torque. That’s a significant jump from the current 1.6-liter turbo’s 168 horses and 250Nm. It will be mated to what Subaru calls a High Torque Lineartronic CVT and of course, Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.
Besides the upgraded powerplant, the new Levorg 2.0 GT-S EyeSight also gets new front foglights, revised 18-inch alloy wheels, and twin tailpipes out back. Inside, front occupants get new bucket seats with cool blue stitching, a power-sliding sunroof, Si-Drive that allows drives to choose between Intelligent, Sport, and Sport Sharp driving modes, and of course, all the toys that came with the current Levorg.
Another significant addition to the new Levorg is EyeSight. The driver assist technology helps keep drivers and occupants out of harm’s way thanks to a slew of aids that warn them of oncoming hazards.
