It was another stellar year for compact vehicle maker Suzuki Philippines, which saw a 2.5 percent growth in sales in 2018. This performance can be attributed to aggressive marketing and a vehicle lineup that seems to cater to the needs of the Filipino people.
The sales charge was led by the Ertiga, Celerio, and Vitara, which were favorites in their respective segments. The 7-seat Ertiga, for instance, was a hit amongh Filipino families. The Celerio, meanwhile, made a splash among folks looking for an easy-to-drive city car. And the Vitara was a value for money proposition among the SUV crazy crowd.
Apart from these vehicles, the Vitara, Jimny, and Dzire all bagged awards from the likes of C! Magazine, STV Media’s Choice Awards, and Car Awardds Group Inc. Each of these vehicles garnered awards in their respective classes, showing just how prestigious they are. Another proof that Filipinos are getting world-class vehicles at a very competitive price.
And with introductions such as the al-new Ertiga in the works, Suzuki hopes to replicate its success in the 2019.
