Toyota PH brings sustainable mobility closer to the public with the Hybrid Electric Drive Expo

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP, together with its luxury brand, Lexus Philippines, recently held an event called the Hybrid Electric Drive Expo. Happening from November 22 to 24, this showcase of tomorrow’s vehicle today is located at the Fashion Hall of Greenbelt 5 in Ayala, Makati.

The agenda of the weekend-long event is to further educate the public about the benefits of sustainable mobility like the hybridisation and electrification of vehicles, most prominent of which is the conservation and eventual rehabilitation of the environment. By hybridisation of vehicles, Toyota aims to reduce its carbon footprint by introducing hybrid-powered models such as the Prius, the all-new Corolla Altis Hybrid, and the all-new Camry Hybrid.

In the said vehicle expo, the Japanese carmaker even managed to bring in the Mirai, its latest innovation in hybrid electric vehicle technology. In basics, the Toyota Mirai is a hybrid passenger car that uses hydrogen fuel cell as gasoline replacement to power its combustion engine.

Lexus Philippines also jons this activity by showcasing its latest stable of hybrid vehicles. These include the NX300h, the RX450h, and the LS500h.

Watch out for the succeeding Toyota Hybrid Electric Vehicle Drive Expos in key locations in the metro, the next of which will be at the SM Mall of Asia.
