The Toyota Vios has reigned supreme as the country’s best-sellling subcompact sedan for quite some time now. Its numerous variants cater to a wide range of needs and budgets. And its Toyota badge assures buyers that they’re getting a reliable ride.

Not one to rest on its laurels, Toyota Motor Philippines further solidifies its foothold on the segment by unveiling an affordable yet decently-equipped variant, the Vios XE. This Xtra Economical, Xtra Efficient, and Xtra Easy to drive model packs quite a lot of features for its P735,000 pricetag.

For that kind of money, you get the tried-and-tested 1.3-liter Dual VVT-I engine that has proven its worth when it comes to fuel efficiency. It is paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission that makes for easy driving in and around the Metro’s gridlocked streets.

Apart from the economical and easy-going nature of this supposedly entry-level sedan, Toyota has put in some convenience amenities that make life much easier. Stuff like power steering, windows, and doorlocks, as well as a 7-inch touchscreen display with a load of connectivity otions. And safety kit such as ABS, Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Control, and 7 SRS airbags are likewise standard.

Now, you can have your cake and eat it, too, so to speak, with the new Toyota Vios XE. Now available at your nearest Toyota dealer.
