Car Awards Group, Inc. (CAGI), an esteemed group of the country’s top motoring journalists, will be holding its 2nd 2017 Dealer Talks event. This will take place at the Isuzu Alabang showroom on August 5, 2017.
While its inaugural Dealer Talks focused on how the Honda Civic 1.5 RS Turbo got its 2016 Car of the Year Philippines award, the upcoming event will detail the processes behind the success of the Isuzu D-Max 3.0 LS AT as the country’s reigning Truck of the Year. These processes include entry selection, vehicle testing and scoring, tabulation, and awarding.
This is done with the support of primary sponsors KPMG RG. Manabat & Co., Petron Corporation, Carmudi Philippines, and NLEX Corporation.
Prior to the August 5 event, a memorandum of agreement (MoA) was signed to establish the partnership between CAGI and Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC). It also served to highlight the importance of the pickup truck segment as one of the movers and shakers of the local auto industry.
Present in the MoA signing were CAGI Technical Director Mariano Tamayo, CAGI President Ronald de los Reyes, Isuzu Automotive Dealership, Inc. (IADI) Regional Head Alex Paguio, and IADI Branch Manager Erlo Tenedoro.
