The color black has always had this timeless appeal. Sure, it may be a dust magnet and it can really be hard to see at night, making it accident prone. Yet despite these downsides, one cannot deny the allure and seductive charm of a black ride.
Honda Cars Philippines seems to agree, what with the introduction of the new City and Jazz Black Edition. The latest addition to the subcompact twins’ lineup offers a host of cosmetic upgrades that give the sedan and hatchback a sportier vibe.
The Honda City 1.5 E CVT and City VX Navi CVT, for instance, have a slew of Modulo body parts such as black front, side, and rear underspoilers, rear wing, front grille, and of course, Modulo badges. The look is finished off with 16-inch black Modulo wheels. The Honda City VX Navi CVT can also be had in Mugen Black Edition guise, with the same trim pieces, albeit from Mugen.
Those buyers that prefer a Jazz can also go black with the Jazz 1.5 Navi CVT Modulo Black Edition. This one dresses up the already stylish hatch with a black front grille, the front, side, and rear underspoiler, rear hatch spoiler, those cool black 16-inch alloys, a shark’s fin antenna, and Modulo logos.
HCPI dealers are now accepting reservations for the limited edition models. Yes, we say limited because only a handful of units will be available. More specifically:
- Sixty (60) City 1.5 E CVT Modulo (P874,000) and 1.5 Navi CVT Black Edition (P983,000)
- Ten (10) Honda City VX Navi CVT Mugen Black Edition (P1,043,000)
- Thirty (30) Honda Jazz 1.5 VX Navi CVT Modulo Black Edition (P998,000)
Check out the new Honda City and Jazz Black Edition models at your nearest Honda showroom. Both cars will also be available for test drive at the Auto Focus Test Drive Festival at the SM Mall of Asia Grounds this November 17-20, 2016. As the saying goes, when you go black, you just won’t go back.
