The Honda BR-V has been touted to be the most affordable seven-seat Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) by Honda Cars Philippines Inc. But how “affordable” exactly is it, you ask?
HCPI reveals that the BR-V starts at Php989,000 for the 1.5 S CVT variant. This will get you stuff like roof rails, fog lamps, and 16-inch alloy wheels that give it a cool urban chic vibe. Inside, the seven passengers can revel in comfort thanks to digital airconditioning, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment interface, and other convenience features. Rear occupants even get their own aircon controls.
Families that want a little more can opt to move up the BR-V Navi CVT. Priced at Php1,119,000, this model adds even more goodies like a Garmin navigation system, smart entry with push start system, power folding mirrors, paddle shifters, leather seating surfaces, and automatic front aircon. You can tell this top-spec model aprt from its sibling thanks to chrome side sill and door handles, front and rear bumper garnish, and LED position lamps.
Either way, the BR-V offers a more-than-ample ground clearance of 201mm, perfect for the country’s perennially flooded streets. Plus, safety kit like Vehicle Stability Assist and Hill Start Assist ensure safety for the family.
You can catch the new Honda BR-V at selected Honda dealerships beginning this November. It will also be available for test drive at the Auto Focus Test Drive Festival from November 17 to 20, 2016 at the SM Mall of Asia grounds.
Deliveries of the all-new Honda BR-V will begin in December.
