As a new model year rolls in, the folks at Porsche want to start it off by offering a whole range of new colors, equipment, and a bit more power for one of its erstwhile nameplates.
The Porsche 911 and 718, for instance, can be ordered in a new shade known as Crayon. Those that want something truly eye-catching for their 911 can specify the four-coat finish called Saffron Yellow. The bright hue even employs intermediate sanding techniques that give it more depth and luster.
Porsche Cayenne clients, meanwhile, can choose between the exclusive Palldium Metallic or Purpurite Metallic paint schemes, while the Panamera can be ordered in either an elegant Burgundy Red Metallic or Ristretto Brown Metallic. Those buyers who opt for the sports exhaust for their Porsche can do so in a Gloss Black finish.
When it comes to interiors, the range of colors has likewise been expanded to include Sport-Tex equipment in either Black or Graphite Blue Crayon for the 911 and 718. The Macan and Panamera can likewise be ordered in Black/Luxor Biege, while the club interior can be specc’d in either Cohiba or Truffle Brown.
In true Porsche fashion, the engine and chassis have been tweaked to bring out added power and performance. The Porsche 911 Carrera S, 911 Carrera 4S, and 911 Targa 4S variants can be fitted by Porsche Exclusive with a kit that gives them a power boost of some 30 horses to 450hp.The larger turbocharger upgrade can be matched with the Sport Chrono pack that includes dynamic engine mounts, centrally-mounted sport exhaust, and modified brake cooling system. Vehicles that already have the Sport Chrono package can be retrofitted with the power upgrade kit by June 2017.
