Caltex PH launches new Havoline engine oils for better-performing motorcycles, scooters

Chevron Philippines, Inc. (CPI), the official marketer of Caltex fuels and lubricants in the country, has launched its latest Havoline motorcycle engine oils. What’s special about it is that it’s now beefed up with ZOOMTECH, CPI’s new formulation that it claims would enhance the performance of scooters and bikes.

In detail, the new Havoline’s ZOOMTECH formulation enables it to meet the latest API & JASO performance standards. Although CPI didn’t disclose the more chemistry-oriented stuff that makes the new Havoline better than the old one, it mentioned that the new Havoline is 13% better than the old formulation as shown in the graph it provided below.

Moreover, the new Caltex Havoline motorcycle engine oil benefits from Caltex’ CORE Technology. CORE stands for the following advantages.

• Cleans and protects for a more efficient and clean engine to deliver superior performance

• Oxidation stability provides heat protection against oil degradation

• Reduces engine heat damage with superior oil stability for continuous protection

• Enhances acceleration through improved clutch grip even under high loads

CPI highlighted the new Havoline’s advantages to those who ride scooters on a daily basis in and around the city. According to CPI, the cooter riders can now enjoy the performance brought about by an an API SN oil, whether they purchase a semi-synthetic or minaeral oil.

The New Caltex Havoline motorcycle engine oil is available in 5 variants; the, Ezy 4T, Super4T, Super4T Semi-Synthetic, SuperMatic4T, and the SuperMatic4T Semi-Synthetic. Do note that the above-mentioned Caltex CORE Technology isn’t available in the Ezy 4T variant.
