Mellow 94.7 FM launches Road to 45 pre-anniversary campaign with Isuzu PH

Come February 2018, local FM radio station Mellow 94.7 will reach its 45th year on air. Because of this, it came up with a cool idea to celebrate the milestone. It’s called the Road to 45, Mellow 94.7’s pre-anniversary campaign that’s made possible via partnership with Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC).

What makes Road to 45 special besides it essentially being a 5-month long birthday bash? For starters, the Mellow 94.7 Road to 45 is where the station gives its listeners (new and long-time alike) a chance to win cool prizes in its weekly fun activities. These include stick-ons, prize give-aways, photo contests, and more.

Here’s the catch. In order to win prizes, listeners should be tuning in on the road. That’s because a huge part of the Road to 45 campaign involves spotting an Isuzu mu-X SUV that’s patrolling in and around the metro. Don’t worry, though as Mellow 94.7 made the mu-X stand out.

Aside from it wearing a Desert Tan paint scheme with Mellow 94.7 and Isuzu Blue Power logos, it also boasts cosmetic treatments courtesy of Foilacar, Overland Philppines, Blade Auto Center, CTEK, PIAA, Blaupunkt, Black Rhino Philppines, Nitto Tires and Deestone Tires. In addition, Mellow 94.7 has fielded 2 units of this dressed up mu-X, making spotting one on the road a notch easier.

How’s that for a birthday celebration?

In retrospect, DWLL Mellow 94.7 (formerly Mellow Touch 94.7) has been on the air waves since 1973, thus establishing itself as one of the go-to stations for those who prefer listening to relaxing, feel-good music. It remains as one of today’s high-rating FM stations that are proudly riding the “millennial age” in style. Its specialty includes quality pop music that even its long-time listeners can enjoy.
